Community Outreach

iGov believes that it is important to give back to the community. Our philosophy of corporate giving has grown out of the many philanthropic community outreach activities performed by our own employees. As we’ve grown, we continue to broaden our support to include a variety of organizations that provide medical research and community support to those in need in the business communities where we are based.

Our corporate contributions have benefited the programs of the following groups:

Special Operations Warrior Foundation

The Special Operations Warrior Foundation provides full scholarship grants and educational and family counseling to the surviving children of special operations personnel who die in operational or training missions and immediate financial assistance to severely wounded special operations personnel and their families. For more information go to: www.specialops.org

USMC Toys for Tots

The primary goal of Toys for Tots is to deliver, through a new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to less fortunate youngsters that will assist them in becoming responsible, productive, patriotic citizens. For more information go to: www.toysfortots.org

Honor Flight Network

Honor Flight Network is a non-profit organization created solely to honor America's veterans for all their sacrifices. We transport our heroes to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at their memorials. Top priority is given to the senior veterans – World War II survivors, along with those other veterans who may be terminally ill. For more information go to: www.honorflight.org

Georgetown University Hospital Pediatrics Program

Georgetown Pediatrics is proud of its ability to provide cutting-edge pediatric care such as ECMO (Extra-Corporeal Membrane Oxygenation or heart-lung machine), high frequency ventilation, brain surgery and liver, pancreas and small bowel transplantation while maintaining an environment of care that supports an active role of the patients and families in every day care decisions. Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation

As the world’s largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists, we’re working together to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures. Thanks to events like the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure®, and generous contributions from our partners, sponsors and fellow supporters, we have become the largest source of nonprofit funds dedicated to the fight against breast cancer in the world.www.komen.org

American Heart Association

Our mission is to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke. That single purpose drives all we do.  For more information go to: www.heart.org

In addition, iGov contributed to the Tampa-based youth outreach organization, the Sulphur Springs Cowboys. This association offers opportunities to young children to learn the fundamentals of sports and the value of teamwork, discipline and hard work, which should translate into scholastic success.
