iGov's Implementation Model (iGIM) ensures a life cycle approach to any system or solution.

iGov logoA successful project requires a world-class implementation model.  The iGov Implementation Model (iGIM) is a proven methodology with six phases incorporating the best practices for implementing a project within the government environment.  iGIM is scalable to support simple or complex engagements.  iGIM covers all aspects of an IT project from defining scope to O&M post-deployment support.  Each phase has specific action items and deliverables associated with it.

Services provided during various iGIM phases:

Planning– Development of a Project Charter authorizing the project and documenting the provided business needs and provided services.  Creating a Project Management Plan addressing the management and control of Scope, Schedule, Budget, Resources, Risk, Communications and Quality Planning.

Analysis– Development of a functional requirements document, determining the appropriate test approach, Gap Analysis and finalizing a project plan.

Design – Development of Functional Design and Conversion Design documents, determining what the test environment and best testing approach should be, and development of test procedures.

Build – Review and integration of relevant solution components, solution validation against functional design, development of the support, instruction and training documents.

Test – Validation of solution integration processes, validation of user documentation and manuals, and evaluation of the training processes.

Deployment – Finalize user documentation, deploy solution in compliance with project plan, conduct knowledge transfers, implement defined contingency plan, and establish support plans and procedures.

Our approach ensures that the project incorporates the business case, Enterprise Architecture, and system support across all phases of the implementation. Every aspect of the project is documented including approaches for design, communications and life cycle management.  We provide specialized services across the entire implementation or in support of activities relevant to a specific step in the process.
