iGov’s Engineered Systems Solutions are crafted to address a more complex and sophisticated level of engineering requirements than our COTS and GOTS solutions generally require.  These large-scale solutions require a team of Engineering SMEs working to create a detailed design, then assembling the custom solution in an environment outfitted for “hard engineering.”

Mobile / Deployable Networks

iGov provides extensive mobile (tactical) network capabilities, in particular via our TACLAN program.  Our mobile network solutions have proven to be tremendously successful in their ability to provide IT infrastructure and applications interconnecting multiple deployed elements of the Special Operations Forces.  Read our TACLAN case studies for additional detail on this highly successful solution.

TACLAN allows deployed SOF operators to use a common network infrastructure to support a wide range of military information management functions, including command and control, office automation, decision-making assistance and mission analysis.

Unattended Sensor Systems

iGov’s Unattended Sensor Systems offer a critical protective layer, collecting and transmitting vital data for decision-makers using our Mobile / Deployable Computing / Networks offerings.  These systems, which often include HD cameras, physical and virtual trip-wires, and other surveillance capabilities, are commonly used in Situation Awareness solutions, displaying data from disparate sources in an actionable format for analysis.  Common applications for this technology include border and facility protection, entry/exit early warning systems, and data federation for decision-making and problem resolution.

Communications Technology

We can provide a variety of sophisticated communications solutions which leverage our expertise with Voice over IP (VOIP), Radio over IP (ROIP), voice communications management and SATCOM, to address our customers’ diverse technical needs.  Our SATCOM capabilities in particular allow customers to take our mobile networks to the next level by leveraging the increasing advantages presented by satellite communications technology.

Our TACLAN contract demonstrates all of these communications technologies at work.  We provide the technical support and equipment required by the SOCOM program office to facilitate the satellite connection to the network for this contract.

In addition, we provide technical support of the SDN (Special Operations Forces Deployable Node) program that facilitates the connectivity between the communications and network segments – a reflection of our growing presence in this increasingly vital communications realm.
