McLean, VA, September 15, 2009 - Brian Gieseler has been named Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at iGov, reporting to Patrick Neven, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Gieseler will oversee the company's financial, accounting and operations programs including information technology services and purchasing. As a member of iGov's investment committee, he will also help chart the company's strategic direction. "Brian has vast experience in all aspects of CFO services," said Neven. "His almost 30 years of industry experience will be a great asset to iGov as we re-align our business." During his career, Gieseler has provided financial guidance and direction to companies and clients in multiple industries. As a partner with Tatum LLC, he specialized in financial leadership, mergers & acquisitions, CFO mentoring and emerging growth. He served as Interim Chief Accounting Officer and Controller for a privately-held $200 million healthcare company and for a $1 billion global consulting company. Prior to joining Tatum, Gieseler founded BHG Consulting, where he served as Financial and Operational Advisor to early-stage companies in rapid-growth mode. Previously, he co-founded the Strategic Global Alliances Division for Perot Systems, Inc ., and managed the accounting, contracting business planning, organization and finance functions as the Division's Chief Administrative Officer. Gieseler is a member of The Greater Washington Board of Trade, "Green as a Competitive Advantage" committee; the Potomac Officers Club, and the Wharton Club of DC, "Business of Government Roundtable" Gieseler is a native of Chatham, NJ, and he holds an MBA from the Wake Forest University Babcock Graduate School of Management; a BA degree in Economics and Business Administration from Catawba College, and an Accounting Certificate from the University of Virginia. iGov is an IT systems integrator specializing in delivering mission-centric IT solutions to its government customers. iGov deploys its people, expertise and processes to execute full lifecycle enterprise and tactical IT programs in the following areas: systems engineering, deployable IT systems, communications and visualization. |
