McLean, VA, May 4, 2010 - iGov, prime contractor for TACLAN and provider of evolutionary tactical network systems and support programs, announced today its joint fundraising effort with Team TACLAN partners to raise $100K in 2010 as part of its ongoing effort to support the Special Operations Warrior Foundation (SOWF). 

The foundation provides full college scholarship grants, along with financial aid and educational counseling to surviving children of Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps personnel who were killed in an operational mission or training accident.

"This is iGov's fourth year supporting the SOWF and the 30^th anniversary of Operation Eagle Claw, the founding of the organization," said Patrick Neven, Chairman and CEO of iGov.  "The significance of this year's event prompted a corporate call-to-arms to have our partners participate in such an important fundraiser for our military families. This is the best way to say ‘Thank You' to those who are helping to protect our freedom and our country."

 iGov will lead this fundraising campaign throughout 2010 to meet the $100K Team TACLAN challenge.
